I have been to many masseurs in my life and I have to say Stella is probably the best I have ever experienced.  I love a great massage where the masseuse can work my muscles and at first I was afraid Stella may not be strong enough. Boy was I wrong; she got right in there and worked out all the kinks in my back. She made me feel comfortable the minute I met her and I felt like her massage was healing on so many different levels. I really felt liked I visited other worlds. I know that sounds strange but it is hard to describe the experience I had on her table. I can just tell you it was magnificent. I won’t go to anyone else.  I left there feeling so relaxed and refreshed, I just wish there was a limo outside waiting to take me home. Hey, Stella you may want to think about that for your future clients.

I had been doing yoga on and off for about 7 years before I met Stella. While I always enjoyed yoga and liked the results I saw from practicing it, classes always seemed to intimidate me.  When I started working with Stella on my practice I developed a love for yoga. From our very first session I learned the simplest things, like what I thought was “down dog” was really not down dog.  Stella has taught me that yoga is about being present wherever that is.  It ’s ok that maybe I can’t touch my toes one day or my hamstrings won’t let me do a pose as “pretty” as she can do it. Not only is Stella an amazing teacher, but she is also an amazing person.

I had a lot of back problems and a shoulder injury that after only about a month of sessions with her became almost non-existent. Each yoga session is not just about her dictating poses to you, each pose has a meaning to it for you personally and builds on how she would like you progress in your practice.

Stella has a very deep understanding of how the body works, which also comes into play in her massages as well. I can honestly say, I have NEVER had a better massage than Stella’s massages. They are not only therapeutic, but energetically calming.

I’ve never had a massage where I didn’t have to tell the person where I needed help and they just naturally found it. By far, Stella’s massage was the best massage I’ve ever had.

I started yoga with Stella for the first time when I was about 5 months pregnant. For each session, she would gear the lesson to how I felt. I would also get a very relaxing massage at the end as well. I was very impressed by her teaching ability and at the same time adjusting each session to my needs. Some days I would be so sore or so tired and she would make the yoga sessions work for me so I could get the most benefit. Six weeks after the baby was born, I started post natal yoga sessions with Stella. I wanted to really push myself and learn yoga. She really did push me to my limits but not too much. I felt like I worked every muscle in my body but at the end of the session was extremely relaxed. She also is a very good teacher. I feel I am learning the proper form and progressing and getting stronger each week. I look forward to each session with Stella. She is a great teacher and has the ability to adjust each session perfectly to how I am feeling and where I am at that week.

Being in Stella's yoga class has been very up lifting and motivating for me to help build my flexibility and core strength.  I'm now climbing mountains again and doing 5-10 mile hikes around Silver Lake stairs on a regular basis.  I appreciate all YogaGals has done and continues to do for me to help build that peace and serenity with in me that I now have when I'm being active and during my down time.

Ever since I started Stella's class a year ago, I've become so aware of my personal growth and just of myself in general. Getting to the yoga studio has helped me shift my energies into creating healthier, more positive habits. I've developed a greater sense of self by coming back to the self, listening to my body and tuning into my breath. Every time the class ends I feel a groundedness and a connection that was not there before. Stella's class has become a sanctuary where I can release my stress and breathe in a new moment to appreciate my life. I guess my only objection is the fear that maybe I'm not skilled enough but I am reassured through Stella's kind words that you have to start somewhere and move forward. Thank you, Stella!!!
